For over a decade, Ruba Tannous has built an atelier where precision meets warmth — designing residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces that are shaped by genuine listening and an obsession with materials.
THE STUDIO
Ruba Tannous grew up drawing. Long before she understood the language of interior design, she was studying form, shadow, and the way materials hold light. She pursued art first — painting and composition — before turning to the discipline of designing spaces.
That foundation in art gave her something rare: an instinct for details that others overlook, and the ability to find solutions where others see only constraints. Clients began seeking her out for the most challenging spaces — rooms with difficult proportions, projects with complex requirements, homes that needed to feel both grand and intimate.
Her work earned recognition early. She was a top-3 finalist in an international luxury furniture design competition, and was featured on Channel 12 (makoTV) as a design expert — bringing her meticulous approach to a national audience.
Today, the atelier designs across residential, hospitality, and commercial — from private homes to restaurants, clinics to event halls. Every project is a dialogue between materials, light, and the people who will live within the space.

Before a single material is chosen, we listen. To how you move through your home, to the light that enters each room, to the rhythm of your daily life. This is not a questionnaire — it is a genuine dialogue that shapes everything that follows.

Each texture, each finish, each shadow is selected with intent. Walnut against marble, brass against linen, warmth against precision. We test combinations until the palette feels inevitable — as if no other arrangement were possible.

Every angle is studied, every proportion tested, every transition between rooms resolved. We work through detailed 3D visualizations and material samples so that what you see on paper is exactly what you will walk through in reality.

BEYOND DESIGN
Away from the studio, Ruba draws, rides horses, and captures moments through photography. She plays the darbuka, prepares meals with the same precision she brings to her projects, and finds that the best ideas arrive when her hands are busy with something unrelated to design.
Family is her foundation. A wife and mother of two boys, she builds her work around the same values she designs into every home — warmth, generosity, and spaces where people genuinely feel they belong.
